Will Smith Developing Hour-Long Show for NBC
The Smith family is really cashing in these days and if Willow Smith’s hair wasn’t enough pizazz for the entertainment industry, Will Smith is cooking up some new projects as well.
His latest venture will be a new crime drama series on Fox. Smith and his business partner James Lassiter, will team up their Overbrook Entertainment company with Chinese filmmaker Eva Jin to produce the series.
Smith, Lassiter and Overbrook are also undergoing an hour-long show based on the film “Hitch,” which casted Smith as one of the lead roles.
This one be the first time Smith overtakes China, who produced “The Karate Kid” which filmed overseas, starring his son Jaden.
Overbrook has produced some of Smith’s past films such as “Seven Pounds” and “I Am Legend.”
